Membrane denifrification system

A custom made membrane denitrification system ready for shipment to a customer, complete saltwater resistant.

Technique:

New technique in which by means of adsorption water purification bacteria are separated from the treated effluent.

The technique makes use of membrane cassettes. The cassettes are at an angle so that the bacteria of the membrane roll to a central gutter. The clean effluent is discharged separately for any further use in the system. The COD removal efficiency is around 75-95 % depending on the biology. The cassettes are easily removable for inspection periodically, the membranes are rinsed to prevent befouling.
